‘Yesterday, when I was young’ tells the inspirational and laugh-out-loud story of one woman’s journey of discovery in Manchester’s Gay Village. From the back-streets of 1950s Salford to the dance-floors of seventies Canal Street – this is an incredible true story of an amazing woman.

2006 – Premiered to sell-out houses and critical acclaim at Studio Salford.

2006 – Excerpts broadcast on BBC Radio Manchester.

2007 – Sold out the Studio Theatre @ The Lowry, Salford in June.

2007 - Performed to sell out houses @ The Buxton Fringe Festival in July. Won the Popular Choice Award at the Fringe Awards and was nominated for two others.

2007 - Performed @ The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
